I promised I would talk about psychic protection in my last pre-break post. Protection is something all the psychic teachers I have had emphasize strongly. Yet I probably didn't take it as seriously as I do now. I was following the routine just because I was told, not because I felt the strong need for it. Now I do feel strongly about it.
Yes, one big trigger was what I suspected might have been an psychic attack back in February. But I also realized that normal people who may have no interest in the psychic/spiritual world can get spirit attachments or psychic attacks very easily. Actually most of us currently have or have had, one or more, in this lifetime.
I found that one of my family members got a spirit attachment. It was a weird timing. I was studying a lot about mediumship at that time and I learned about the earthbound spirits. I also knew that often times, negative spirits stink. I know very well now because in this short past two months, I experienced it a couple of times. One time it smelled like a dirty toilet. The other time it smelled like sewage. You know it because it comes from nowhere. And you should know that these stinky places do tend to attract bad spirits. That is one of the reasons why you should keep your places clean.
One of the times was in the middle of the night, while I was sleeping in my own bed. I woke up to the smell of sewage right next to me. Toilet or sink was nowhere near me, so I knew it was it. But I was taught to ignore any earthbound spirits if you don't want to deal with it, so I pretended I didn't notice. The smell disappeared shortly. But now I think about it, it was a warning. Because it was the very next evening when I realized one of my family members got a spirit attachment.
It was brought to my attention because he started acting and talking, out of character. And I could tell how he got it. He was one of the very examples given in my textbooks. His energy field was very weak. I was frightened to death. With my heart pounding and hands shaking, I started going over my textbooks for psychic and mediumship studies. With that information, I used all my limited knowledge and abilities at that time on the spirit attachment and spent some time working on the removal of the attachment. Long story short, I believe I ended up being successful, but it was when I realized the importance of protection, before it happens.
My teacher said sometimes it is unavoidable. But in general, spirit attachment is like a cold. When your immune system is weak, you are more likely to get it. Protection is like your vitamins. It is good to take it regularly, and stay healthy.
Since that night, I started praying for myself and each of my family members every day, at least once a day. There are many different kinds of prayers but for my family I just call on Archangel Michael and ask him to place a white light of divine love and protection so that no negative energy can enter his auric field. I visualize this in my minds eye. I do this for each one of them. And finally I also ask Archangel Michael to place gold and sliver lights around the outer edge of the house we live in, so that no bad spirit or energy can enter.
For myself, I also apply a few more protection as I am involved a lot more psychically and I know I am likely to attract more bad spirits. I say this prayer "I am the light, the light is in me, the light runs through me, the light surrounds me and the light protects me." I also put myself in a multi colored bubble of protection.
Whatever it is, must be working - as I check for any attachment on my family periodically now, I feel they are safe. But again, it is like a vitamin. You need to do it on a regular basis, not just once for all.
Interestingly, but not surprisingly, I had a couple of clients since then who needed the protection against negative energies or removal of attachment. You see, it is all part of Divine plan and my lessons. Now I have seen it for myself, I am able to help.
